Workshops and Training

The Lancashire Governance Association organises a variety of ‘Training’ for Lancashire Governors,
in addition to that provided through the Local Authority.

There is an ‘Annual Conference’ each October, with a variety of speakers covering a general theme.

We have also recently begun to expand our work with an increasing number of training-oriented events, eg for our Special School members and on specific topics.

There is no additional charge for attendance, above your school’s membership fee, no matter how many of your governors come along

- nor for the often substantial refreshments!

We are happy to try to address any ideas or topics that you have that might benefit Lancashire Governors.
